The 26th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP26), hosted by the UK in partnership with Italy, will take place in November in Glasgow, UK. It will bring parties to agree on enhanced action to tackle climate change.

On Wednesday 20 October 2021 (18h00-19h00 CET), the College of Europe Energy Group and the European Energy and Climate Policy Chair - invite you to a talk with Mr Fabien PORCHER, policy officer in charge of climate diplomacy at the European Commission, about the major outstanding issues to be discussed at the COP26, the external dimension of the Green Deal and the major climate diplomacy developments in 2021.

The talk’s format consists of a presentation made by Mr PORCHER on COP26 and climate diplomacy followed by a Q&A session, and will be moderated by the research assistant to the Energy and Climate Chair Thijs Vandenbussche. The event is open only to students and staff of the College of Europe.
