On 20 November 2013, Professor Frank SCHORKOPF gave a lecture at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe entitled "At the Verge of History? Liberal-democratic State in the Times of Financial Crisis". The lecture was followed by a Q&A session and a wine reception in the Natolin Restaurant. The language of the event was English.

Professor SCHORKOPF is Dean of the Law Faculty at the Georg-August-University Göttingen. He is a representative of the European Central Bank before the German Federal Constitutional Court in the preceding concerning legality of ECB's Outright Monetary Transactions.
