The opening ceremony of the academic year of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, took place on 16 October 1997.
HE Mr. Antonio GUTERRES , Prime Minister of Portugal, delivered the opening address to the students of the Hendrik BRUGMANS Promotion, professors, staff and invited guests of the College of Europe.
