“Swiss Federalism – A Model for the European Union?”

The Embassy of Switzerland in Poland and the College of Europe, Natolin campus present a conference “Swiss Federalism – A Model for the European Union?”

With the current political and economic challenges, federalism is back on the agenda as a possible way forward for the EU.  Can federalism provide solutions to the EU’s current crises of confidence and democratic legitimacy?  Can the Swiss experience point the way forward?
 
Mr Matthias MICHEL, Minister of Economy of the Canton of Zug, will lead a distinguished panel and audience of invited guests and students in a discussion of these and other important questions for the future of federalism in Europe.
