Women in Diplomacy: Online Talk with H.E. Ambassador Ursula PLASSNIK

On Thursday, 26 November 2020, we welcomed H.E. Mrs Ursula PLASSNIK, Austrian Ambassador to Switzerland and former Austrian Minister for European and Foreign Affairs, to a meeting with our Natolin students.

Ambassador PLASSNIK, a College of Europe graduate with over four decades of diplomatic experience, has served in posts in Switzerland and France, in addition to overseeing numerous multilateral and bilateral negotiations. As Foreign Minister of Austria (2004-2008), she also chaired the Foreign Affairs Council of the EU during the Austrian EU presidency in the first half of 2006.

Ambassador PLASSNIK shared her experiences with our students during a video talk entitled Women in Diplomacy. Following her initial address, students had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A discussion.
