The opening ceremony of the sixty-second academic year of the College of Europe Natolin (Warsaw) campus took place on Thursday 29 September 2011.

Rector Paul DEMARET presented "The College of Europe in 2011-2012" and recalled Marie Skłodowska-Curie, Patroness of the Promotion 2011-2012.

Mr José Manuel BARROSO, President of the European Commission delivered the opening address to the students and guests.

The opening ceremony of the sixty-second academic year of the College of Europe, Bruges campus, takes place in the Concert Hall ('t Zand, Bruges) on Wednesday 26 October 2011 at 2.30 p.m. Mr Giorgio NAPOLITANO, President of the Italian Republic, will deliver the opening address.
