European Concert

The Local Committee for the College of Europe organised its 13th European Concert at the St. Saviours Cathedral of Bruges on Europe Day.
Nuove Musiche, under the direction of Eric Lederhandler, was featuring three different musical masterpieces. Denis-Pierre Gustin - flute - was invited to perform as a soloist.
Programme:
- 'Slavonic Danses, opus 46 nr.7', Antonin Dvorak
- 'Concerto for flute nr.2', Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
- 'Symphony nr.9', Franz Schubert
During the break, Gaëlle Doléans and Marie-Hélène Cussac from the Development Office also performed.
After the concert, all attendees were invited to a reception at the College. Dijver 9, room A. The reception was animated by the student rock band 'Dijvercity'.
The selling of tickets is was organised by: In&Uit Brugge (Concertgebouw) & the Province of West-Flanders (TiNCK)
The profits from ticket sales and sponsorship are donated to the Students' Fund of the College of Europe.

Het Plaatselijk Comité voor het Europacollege organiseerde haar dertiende Europees Concert in de Sint-Salvatorskathedraal te Brugge op Europadag, woensdag 9 mei 2007 om 20.00 uur.
Het programma werd gebracht door het symfonisch kamerorkest Nuove Musiche samen met de fluitist/solist Denis-Pierre Gustin o.l.v. Eric Lederhandler.

- Fluitconcerto nr.2, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) - Oostenrijk
- Symfonie nr.9, Franz Schubert (1797-1828) - Oostenrijk
Kaarten: € 10 VVK & € 14 aan de ingang
De verkoop van tickets werd georganiseerd door:
In&Uit Brugge (Concertgebouw) & de Provincie West-Vlaanderen (TiNCK)
De opbrengsten van het concert gaan integraal naar het Students' Fund, een sociaal fonds voor minder begoede studenten van het Europacollege.
