Council of the EU Presidency – An overview of the Italian Semester

The Italian Society— association of the Italian students of the College of Europe—is glad to invite you to take part in a conference on the Italian Semester of Presidency of the Council of the EU.

In a period of economic and political crisis of the EU, which were the challenges the Italian Presidency coped with, and which were the outcomes of its actions?

To discuss this issue we have the pleasure to host the following speakers:

• Mr. Sandro GOZI, Italian Undersecretary of European Policies; previously a member of the Cabinet of the Commission's President PRODI (2000–2004) and advisor of President BARROSO;
  
• Ms. Alessia MOSCA, MEP, S&D group from Italy;
  
• Ms. Tatiana ESPOSITO, Italian PermRep Official in charge of Employment & Equal Opportunities Policies.

The conference is open to the public and will be followed by a Q&A session.
