Speech and Q&A with the Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Türkiye to the European Union, Mr Faruk Kaymakcı

Dear Students,

On Wednesday, 22 November 2023, we’re honoured to host Faruk Kaymakcı, Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Turkey to the European Union and previous deputy minister of foreign affairs and director for EU affairs, on our campus in Bruges. His keynote speech "Breaking the anchor-credibility dilemma in Türkiye-EU" will be followed by a Q&A session.

The event is only open to students and will take place in Room E (Dijver Building) at 10:00.

POL Career Perspectives Series: POL Alumni Working in EU Institutions

The European Political and Governance Studies Department is happy to invite the College of Europe student community to the first meeting of our Career Perspectives for the year 2023/2024, on 15 November 2023 in Room E, Dijver.

To help students better understand their career options, the European Political and Governance Studies Department regularly invites back young alumni from a variety of sectors to share their professional experiences. This year, we will have the pleasure of welcoming former students from the Manuel Marín (2018-2019), Mário Soares (2020-2021), Eliane Vogel-Polsky (2021-2022) and David Sassoli (2022-2023) promotions. 

During this event, we will discuss careers in European Union institutions with our alumni:
